Meet the Teachers
We're educators with high expectations for our students.
About Mrs. Jean
I am so excited about teaching your child this year! I truly believe that every child is capable of learning, each child has a gift, and with high expectations...students will always exceed what we've imagined for them. This is the belief that I put before our students daily. I hope to instill this belief in your child as I spend countless hours with him/her this school year.

A little about me...

I was born in the sunny Miami, FL. After graduation high school, I moved to Tampa, FL where I attend the University of South Florida - Go BULLS!. While there, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and later earned a Master's degree in Education. After receiving my degree in education, I moved to the Atlanta area where I've taught since 2006. I've taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades as a classroom teacher. Last year I taught in a Math Lab where I had the opportunity to teach my favorite subject (math... you guessed it) to K-5th grades. This is my first year teaching at Teasley and I am so excited about it! I love learning, so I take courses over the summer, during the school year, and any other chance I get. I currently am taking a course to earn a Gifted Endorsement by the summer of 2017! Lots of work, but interesting stuff!

My husband is also a 4th grade teacher at another Cobb County school! We have 2 wonderful children (ages 9 and 6 years old) that attend Teasley with me. I love reading, math (it's alway in my head), bike riding, baking, and movies! Some of all-time favorite things to do is spend time with my family and friends at church. Now you know a little about me.
