We had a great first week! There were lots of things going on. We learned rituals and routines for 4th grade, we came up with our own classroom expectations, created classroom jobs, started using Class Dojo, practiced using "restaurant manners" in the cafeteria, met new friends, and so much more! We got to meet many of you as you stopped in for Meet n' Greet last week. If did not have a chance to see us then, we hope to see you at Open House this upcoming Tuesday. More on this later! If you haven't had a chance to sign up for Class Dojo, please follow the directions below.

Also, please make sure to complete the online Student/Parent information sheet by copying and pasting this link to your browser:

We will continue to work on rituals and routines for the next week or so as we begin pre-assessments and and learning experiences in class. Your child did not have any official homework this week, but will begin to received homework assignments starting Monday, August 8th. All expectations for homework assignments will be explained to students and will be communicated at Open House as well. Please continue to speak to your child about the expectations of mutual respect for others, self-control, and always doing their very best! We strive to make your child more independent learners as the year progress in order to prepare them for 5th grade.

Please continue to turn in the mandated Cobb County paperwork. These items were due on Friday. Have a wonderful weekend!
