What We're Learning This Week

This week, students will be learning the following:

Math - How to add tenths and hundredths by making common denominators

Writing Decimals, learning to say decimals names, and how to place them on number lines.

Science- Sound is form of energy! Volume, pitch, and more.

Social Studies - American Revolution test on Friday. The study guides should be signed, returned on Tuesday for bonus points, and will be given back for students to study from.

Spelling - We're on Sort 19. Check spellingcity.com for lists and assignments.

ELA - Students will learn how to write to a prompt by planning, drafting, and publishing their drafts in a short amount of time. This will help prepare them for them Georgia Milestones.

Reading - Students will continue to learn about deciding on the main idea and supporting details when given a passage.

Please make sure that your child is reading at least 30 minutes per night and completing the new reading log (given today).
