Would you like to deepen your study of influential people for Black History Month? Here's your chance!

To Celebrate Black History Month in February, we will have a voluntary Wax Museum for all grade levels. The Wax Museum will be held on Friday February 17th at 1:00pm in the Media Center. Any student that is interested may participate.

Parent and Student Responsibilities at Home:

  • Choose an African American that inspires you

  • Email Mrs. Killimet at angie.killimett@cobbk12.org your choice by Wednesday, February 8th.

  • Begin to research and print articles at home and discuss why he/she is important

  • Create an outfit/costume that represents your person

  • Create a poster or chart displaying your information: be sure to include important contributions and ways your person inspired you and others

  • Bring costume and poster/chart to school on 2/17

Parents are invited to come to school to view the Wax Museum beginning at 1:00pm on 2/17. Please be sure to sign in at the front office.
