Friday Folders and Other Stuff

Parents, it has been another great week! This week we worked on the following:

Math: Place Value - We learned the how to name periods in a place value chart, how to show numbers in standard form, expanded form, and word form up to the one millions place. - View videos on our blog under the "Lesson Videos" tab.

Science - We learned about the states of matter and how molecules "act" in each state. We also talked about the water cycle (evaporation, condensation, precipitation). View videos on the "Lesson Videos" tab.

ELA - We learned about how good sentences need two things: subjects and predicates. The students did well. Have them practice this game for extra practice:

See if they can "Fling the Teacher"!

Friday Folders came home on Friday. Please be sure to review the contents of the folder, return the pink receipt with work detached, and return any forms to me on Monday. This folder should be returned every Monday (or the next school day if there is a holiday).
